Site clearance, groundworks, footings and foundations by Oodles

Oodles have now completed all external brick facades to the main house. We are building the garage and office complex in traditional steel framework with brick and block work and have commenced landscaping the plot.

The roof is now complete on the house with stone mullion and cill detail now installed. Potton's specialist glazing company are installing the bespoke windows and doors.

Substantial steel beams were received on-site work for the multi-car garage and office complex which has rooms in the vaulted roof space....glad it was bright and dry on Friday 13th December after such a wet week! The site is much easier to work on now that we have set the base levels and compacted the new fast-draining MOT Type 3 hardcore.

The client briefed us to design, supply and install the perimeter fencing....We proposed the powder coated steel Durapost system and the client chose an attractive olive grey colour for the fence posts, cappings and gravel boards...and then "lockdown" occurred on 23rd March!!

We have cautiously adhered to the government guidelines ever since and have recently returned to site only to be confronted with supply chain problems and the inevitable delays to material deliveries.

The scaffold has at last come down and we've spent time on groundworks and the perimeter boundary and hope to be starting some new hedgerow planting soon which will "soften" the site and begin the journy of personalising the building to make it a stylish forever home for our clients...it will be a busy summer as we endeavour to catch up the lost time...
